Paralyzed internet in China

Although diplomatic relations between China and the United States seem to be correct, they are far less peaceful on the Internet than all the attacks on servers of US companies or state offices.

On Sunday Chinese internet was the victim of a powerful hacker attack. Between 2:00 am and 4:00 pm, there were DDoS attacks, which involved overloading the website with a large number of false access requests to block server throughput.

As a result, Internet users have lost access to most of the cn domains, and as a result of traffic the traffic in the Chinese network has dropped by 32%.

China is responsible for more than half of all DDoS attacks that have taken place in the world.

Serious car accident Google

Autonomous Google car had a serious accident at one of the intersections of Mountain View. The cause of the collision, however, is not the poorly functioning computers. This time it is a human factor, or rather another driver passing intersection at red light.

Although the technology of autonomous vehicles is still not yet perfected, it now seems much safer than a human. The best example of this is Google-branded vehicles, which, despite the millions of miles they run, have not scored too many collisions. But the ones that took place were the fault of man.

This was also the case with the latest collision that took place in Mountain View, the headquarters of the internet giant. In a car passing through one of the crossings, a car hit a red light truck driver.

Although the two drivers were not seriously injured (the driver must be in a standalone vehicle as well, the driver must be present), the Google car was severely damaged. So it is safe to say that this was the most serious accident of the self-driving car belonging to the internet giant. As you can see in the picture, Lexus has wrecked the entire right side.

Israelis have developed a new smartphone battery

The battery developed by StoreDot’s Israeli startup engineers is a side effect of the Alzheimer’s study conducted by the University of Tel Aviv. Scientists have discovered that certain peptide molecules have the ability to store electrical charge. Batteries using this technology could load much faster than previously produced batteries, though their capacity would be slightly lower.

Unfortunately, StoreDot’s technology is not applicable to existing smartphones and tablets because it requires not only special chargers, but also electronic modules installed on the same devices.

Startup, however, is in talks with 15 manufacturers of these devices, hoping that this year they will be able to sign deals with one or two of them. Thanks to that, the first devices with a new battery should be ready for next year’s star.

The battery developed by the Israeli company actually has less capacity, but its full charge only takes us a minute. This is a very good solution as you can recharge your phone very fast and continue to use it.

Unfortunately, there is also the disadvantage of this solution, which in this case is the price. Technology is quite expensive and would require raising the price of a smartphone for as much as $ 50. This is very much and many consumers would not choose to buy such a device.
